Contact lenses are more comfortable to wear than ever. We can advise on the best option to suit you and your lifestyle and supply from a wide range of soft lenses including, daily disposables, monthly replacement daily wear and extended wear. The latest generation of soft lens materials allow some lenses to be left in overnight, for example the new Biofinity from Coopervision. The Clariti family of contact lenses are made from silicone hydrogel for durability and extreme comfort. They also block 78% UVA and 98% UVB offering greater protection from several ocular conditions, including cataracts and macula degeneration.
We will train you in putting the lenses in and taking them out as well as lens maintenance using the correct solutions.
The evolving technology of lens material and design means that new lenses are very comfortable and if you haven’t tried a contact lens recently, just ask. You will be pleasantly surprised. We fit hard and gas permeable lenses where this is the most appropriate design.
All contact lens wearers are advised to have a current pair of spectacles for those times where lenses are not appropriate, when unwell for example.
