Digital Imaging

Modern imaging techniques allow us to capture and record pictures of the back of the eye (the retina). This provides a level of clinical detail only imagined a few years ago. As time passes very subtle changes in the back of the eye become important and this technique allows comparison between consultations. We believe this represents a major step forward in the health care of your eyes. A digitised record of the back of each eye is recommended and our optometrists will be happy to discuss this.
